Happy New Year!

It has been a really long time. We need to catch up.

Since August of last year, my family has received orders to Hawaii, sent our eldest off to his Rat year at VMI, had a huge yard sale of stuff we needed to get rid of (made over $700!), completed multiple house projects to prepare our home of 18 years to go on the market, packed everything, said goodbye to friends and family, boarded a plane for Honolulu. took possession of our historic home on Pearl Harbor (such an honor and responsibility), found a church,  restarted home school, found our new scout troop, unpacked our stuff, observed Thanksgiving and Pearl Harbor Day, attended receptions on ships from China and Korea, welcomed our Rat to his new home, celebrated Christmas and New Years, and sent Boyo back to college. Oh yeah. We also went to the beach.

How was your break?

I have a lot of things in the hopper to write about but it is Monday and school must be started.
